5 years ago or so the tornado swept through Alto, Neches Bluff, and the Caddo Mounds site, destroying the trees along the river, human lives, and the North half of Alto.

Caddo Mounds is opening this weekend finally, with a new visitor's center, a few more miles of walking trails, and a new grass shelter.

We all know Neches Bluff survived, and I'm grateful for that. Most of us were at Billy's place in Goldthwaite doing a bushcraft gathering, fortunately, or we may have been sucked away into the nether!
